Fans say Davido’s decision to postpone his much-anticipated fifth studio album 5ive.
Many speculate that the change is affected by the upcoming Ramadan. The album was originally scheduled for release on March 15, 2025 and will now be aired on April 18, as in the update from Apple Music.
While Davido has not formally stated why he decided to postpone the album’s release, some fans praised him for showing respect for Islam by avoiding the release of Islam during the Holy Month.
