Femi Falana said he is currently calling attorneys against the IBB in the June 12 abolition.

Nigeria News Nalin It is reported that human rights lawyer Femi Falana has vowed to drag RTD’s General Ibrahim Babajda to the alleged abuse of human rights to court.

Femi Falana, a senior Nigerian advocate, is one of the people who were sentenced to prison during his tenure as military head of state.

Falana and others challenged the military government for challenging the June 12, 1993 election, were arrested, charged with going to court and thrown into Kuye Prison.

They also challenged the IBB’s decision to extend the terminal date of its military regime. However, they were released on bail and released.

General Babangida recently released a book about his military and political journey so far entitled “Travels of Service.”

In the book, he made some revelations.

One of the key points of the book is that he abolished the June 12 presidential election.

He now says the election is free and fair and won by the late Mko Abiola.

Ibrahim Babangida also said he regretted that he did not hand over to the civilian government on the prescribed date.

Falana, who appeared on Channels Television on Tuesday, argued that the two reasons were the IBB suing him maliciously and vowed to return to court.

He said: “I” will challenge my malicious prosecution and my colleagues’ prosecution. ”

Regarding whether he wanted to sue General Babajda for what happened when he was the military head of state, Felana added: “I have formed a team of lawyers and they are investigating.

He said: “Because he [IBB] It has now been admitted that my prosecution has no basis, because he now says that Abiola won the election, which is the basis for our protest.

“He also said he shouldn’t postpone the terminal date of the transition plan we are fighting for, which means there is no basis for my prosecution. It’s malicious.

“Same, my human rights were seriously violated. Because when you left me in Kuje prison, you denied my right to freedom, my freedom of movement, you also violated my right to choose a national government. The one who did just did it just Say, “I did something wrong. ” “
