INEC has issued a poll notice from the FCT committee.
Nigeria News Nalin The report said that the Independent National Election Commission INEC has issued a “poll notice” for the election of the regional committee at the Federal Capital Territory FCT on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
In a notice released Wednesday, INEC said the Twin Peak Voter Certification System BVA is applied to practice and no one can vote without his or her permanent voter card PVC.
The notice stated; “This is to inform the public that the Independent National Election Commission INEC will hold general elections at six regional commissions in the Federal Capital Region as shown below;

Location: All voting units in the Federal Capital Region FCT
“Please note that eligible voters should vote on the registered voting unit.
“Only those whose names appear in the voter register and who have a valid permanent voter card can vote
“The BVA should be used. There is no PVC, no voting.”
