An online content creator was charged with criminal mischief because he allegedly made an “disturbing” video of his contaminated store products by urinating it, and conducted an investigation four years ago.
The investigation began on February 14, 2025, when Keene Police Department, New Hampshire, a statement issued by the Keene Police Department said: “Use urine to contaminate items in local businesses. .”
Officials said police immediately worked with local grocery stores, Monadnock Food C-OP to conduct an investigation and coordinated with the health department to remove affected items.
Monadnock Food Co-Op subsequently conducted voluntary recalls of red quinoa, white quinoa, tricolor quinoa, cornmeal, corn soil, corn soil, coconut, shredded coconut and raw walnuts, and confirmed that “the health and safety of our community remains It is our top priority.”
“Although this is a very unusual situation, we have acted quickly in accordance with food safety and recall procedures,” Monadnock Food Cooperative said in a statement released on Friday.
“We have also been in direct communication with Keen Health, which confirms that there are no ongoing risks. We will continue to work fully with Keen Police Department and Keen Health on this matter. We have strict food safety protocols and recall procedures . We are reviewing our security measures and procedures to further protect our stores and customers.”
However, during a police investigation into the incident, authorities discovered “many other videos” of Tedford over four years.
Police said: “At present, similar historical events appear to have occurred in Keane and surrounding communities where Tedford contamination items and/or urine have urine surfaces as several videos as early as 2021 It was recorded only in the year.”
Due to this incident, Monadnock Food Cooperative estimated financial losses of more than $1,500, destroyed goods and cleaning costs.
Authorities confirmed that Tedford was arrested by the Keane Police Department on Friday, February 21 and was charged with criminal mischief as a Class B felony. She was subsequently released on personal approval of bail and was scheduled to be arraigned on April 7 in Keane’s 8th Circuit Court.
An investigation is underway, and police say there may be other criminal charges.
