Dangote Petroleum refinery announced Wednesday that the price of the PMS (Gantry), commonly known as gasoline, was significantly lowered.
The price reduction is the second time in February 2025, which lowers N65.00, reducing the new price to N825 per liter, since Thursday, February 27, 2025.
According to the management of Dangote oil refinery, this adjustment is intended to provide the necessary relief for Nigerians before Ramadan.

With this latest reduction, Nigerians will be able to buy Dangote petrol at discounted prices at all partner retail stores.

The refinery management said the new prices for all partner retail stores will be as follows: “For Mrs. Holdings, it will be priced at N860 n860 n870 in Lagos, the North N870, the North N880, the North and Southeast and Southeast, respectively, the N890.”
This price reduction is the second in February 2025, after a drop of N60.00 earlier this month.
In December 2024, the refinery lowered the price of PMS by N70.50, from N970 to N899.50 per liter.
Dangote strikes back at NMDPRA, saying refineries meet 100% of Nigerian gasoline demand
Dangote Group President and Chairman Aliko Dangote refuted Nigeria’s midstream and downstream oil regulator (NMDPRA) claims that local refineries meet only 50% of Nigeria’s gasoline demand.
Dangote said his 650,000 barrels per day refinery can meet 100% of Nigeria’s oil production requirements.
