Dangote oil refinery further lowered the pre-sale price of Premium Motile Spirit (PMS), commonly known as gasoline, at 65 liters per liter, causing a widespread response nationwide.
This move is part of a strategic partnership with Mrs. Oil and Gas to ensure Nigerians get fuel at a more affordable price, challenging the existing advantages of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) in fuel distribution.

He then tested both fuels in the same new generator, noting that the fuel sourced by NNPCL lasted for 17 minutes, while the Dangote fuel lasted for 33 minutes.
Naija News The video quickly gained traction, with many Nigerians sharing similar experiences, questioning the fuel efficiency of different suppliers and praising Dangote for entering the market to undermine the monopoly of NNPC, the report said.
However, NNPCL dismissed these claims, insisting that some of its Lagos filling stations also sourced gasoline from the Dangote refinery.
