This terrible incident occurred on Orhor/Bomadi Road, about one kilometer from the northern government area of Ughelli, Agadama Community, Delta.
The group announced in a phone call from its propaganda minister, Ezekiel Kagbala, that it condemned Fulani herders’ free travel, linking it to several local government areas and villages in the state.
The IPF also accused the Delta State Police Department of uniting with other security agencies to take immediate action to protect the lives of Delta and other road users.
According to Kagbala, “Bomadi-Ohoro Road has been a death trap,” which describes it as “Unfortunately, suspicious strangers continue to make Deltans’ life intolerable, which prevents Deltans from following this route.”
“The reports of kidnapping, robbery, rape, disability and killing have become too shocking to be ignored. That’s why we call on Governor Oborevwori to act immediately to curb the threat,” Kagbara said.
The IPF said that communities along the road have become almost obsolete as predatory herders attacked and killed men and raped women almost every day.
