A spokesman for Mudashiru Obasa, the state capitol of Lagos, announced today on February 27 that he has returned to serve as the post of Parliament President.
Obasa said after returning to the conference for the first time since the impeachment on January 13.
“I’ve recovered and I’m still a spokesperson for the parliament,” Obasa said after attacking the parliament building with police and state security services as escorts Thursday morning.
Obasa was bounced by overwhelming Lagos state lawmakers on January 13 and replaced by Mojisola Lasbat Meranda, who became the first spokeswoman for the Lagos parliament.
