Former Director-General of Public Service Reform Bureau Joe Abah talked about his experience at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
In an article shared on X, Abah said he walked across the airport this morning and was surprised by its functionality. he wrote;
“This morning I landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe airport in Abuja. We are pointed to the part of Nigerian passport holders. Before me it was an electronic door, similar to the electronic door at Heathrow Airport.
I just scanned my passport and it opened a door for me. Then I took off my hat and glasses, it scanned my face and opened the second door. That’s it! I’m inside! No long queues. No immigration officer asked me what greetings I had for them. In less than 1 minute, I’m here!
Dear Minister @BtoOfficial and CG @nigimmigration, I just want to say thank you! I’m proud of you both. God bless you! ”’
