Sceptic herder K! Two farmers in Edo

The suspected herders are two farmers, in the village of Eterako Willage in the western local government area of Etsako, identified as Lucky Salami and Julius Arewa.

On Thursday, February 27, 2025, the victim invaded D3ATH with a machete.

The third victim is said to be known as Omokhagbon Abu, commonly known as Udugboya, fighting for his life in an undisclosed hospital.

The latest incident happened in Herders k! A few days later, including one of Okpekpe’s alert commanders, Etsako East and Owan East’s Ivbiaro.

The wonderful Zibiri president of the Etsako West local government area confirmed the attack in a statement Thursday.

His press secretary Iyamah Nurudeen said the attack occurred at the Eware Village in Ward 8 Anwain.

“This mean and outrageous behavior not only took away the innocent lives of two people, but also hospitalized another victim, instilling fear and unrest in the quiet electronics and the surrounding communities,” the statement said.

“This incident was a barbaric and unacceptable act that undermined peace and security in the Etsako West local government area. Local governments will not tolerate any violence or illegal acts that threaten the lives and livelihoods of their people.”

While interacting with the family of the deceased, Zibiri urged the state government and security agencies to quickly investigate the incident and bring the perpetrators to justice.

He stressed the need for an increased security presence in rural communities to prevent further violence and protect farmers, who he called as the backbone of the local economy.

Zibiri also called on residents to remain calm and law-abiding, urging community leaders and stakeholders to work with security agencies by providing useful information that could lead to the culprit.
