
Former Spanish and Barcelona defender Gerard Pique announced he has no interest in running for the president of Football Club Barcelona.
Prior to the announcement, Pique showed great ambitions for the challenge of the position.
But in a new chat with Iker Casillas’ podcast, Pique said he has withdrawn from the Barca president.
“From a lot of times people ask you, you end up paying attention to it.
“Being a president of Barcelona is much more positive than I can give you, and that’s the evidence, that is, you look back at all the presidents of Barcelona out there and they’ve made more sacrifices than they can give you.
“I, I don’t need anyone else to be the president of Barcelona. But, on the other hand, I think if one day I see it needs a club like me, they have since kids, feeling the color, knowing the color of the club, knowing what the club is inside, knowing what the people who want to socialize the masses…
