Mudashiru Obasa, impeachment spokesman for the Lagos State Capitol, attacked the rally complex on February 27 today in a team of a team of armed security personnel.
This is hours after the security details of his successor Meranda Mojisola were withdrawn.
Obasa was removed from office last month, joining more than 11 police officers in the General Assembly complex and heading straight to the Speaker’s office, ignoring his colleagues, who were found gathering in the convention’s gardens to consider the ongoing crisis.
The sudden withdrawal of Meranda’s security aides has made the speaker and legislative buildings vulnerable, raising concerns about parliamentary stability.
