U.S. lawmakers have proposed a $250 bill to the face of President Trump.

Wilson is a Republican of the same party as President Trump, representing the second district of South Carolina.
Members of Congress serve on the House Republican Policy Committee and are Republican assistant whips.
He announced the proposal Tuesday in an article on his X Handle, calling it “the most valuable bill for the most valuable president.”
“It’s great to announce that I’m drafting legislation to guide the Bureau of Engraving and Printing to design a $250 bill that includes Donald J. Trump.
Bidenfation undermines the economy and forces American families to carry more cash. The most valuable bill for the most valuable president! ” Wilson wrote on X.
Wilson said his proposal was primarily in response to the administration of former President Joe Biden, who claimed it destroyed the economy and forced American families to carry more cash.
If Wilson’s proposal is approved, Trump will become the only current president or former U.S. president that features U.S. currency.
