Agents from the Amotkun troops in Ogun State dismantled one-time trafficking operations in the IFO local government area, rescued the victims and arrested the suspects. The raid occurred around 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, targeting a camp that was exploited as prostitution.
The operation resulted in the arrest of 15 suspects, including the so-called leader, identified as gay Joey. The victims reportedly ranged from 12 to 39 years old and were forced to engage in prostitution at the railway line hotel along the IFO’s Old Bank Road.
One of the victims was a 17-year-old girl whose name was detained, sharing the painful narrative of her suffering.
