

Former Premier League referee David Coote issued a one-year ban on body bans in European football matches.
The body of the referee for the Premier League (PGMOL) was confirmed in December 2024 and David Coote is no longer serving as a referee in England after he slammed Liverpool and former manager Jurgen Klopp, who has surfaced on social media.
Then, further videos of the official who allegedly beat SN were shared. The incident allegedly occurred in the 2024 European Championship, and he was an official.
UEFA issued a statement stating that David Coote violated some of its codes of conduct, which failed the sport.
The statement is as follows:

Coote also underwent a FA survey after Coote conducted a betting survey on the championship game between Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion in October 2019. Coote allegedly discussed Leeds star Ezgjan Alioski online with fans before taking charge of the game. However, he denied any misconduct in that particular case.
