JAMB reveals when registration will end in 2025 | FAQ
The statement says there will be no extension of UTME registration after March 8, 2025
The registration period for the 2025 Unified Level 3 Entrance Examination (UTME) that began on February 3 will end on March 8, 2025. This deadline is clearly communicated in all advertisements and the formal calendar for the 2025 UTME drills. We hope to notify all potential candidates and the registration period will not be extended.
This notice is particularly important given the recent decline in the number of candidates to register for the exam. We urge all those who wish to participate to register in time and avoid waiting until the last minute.
Currently, more than 1.5 million candidates have been successfully registered, which is closely consistent with the board’s forecast for the 2025 examination cycle. It must be noted that the board’s calendar is fixed and many subsequent procedures are arranged after registration, including examinations, results management and admission exercises. These schedules are coordinated with other agencies whose operations depend on our processes. Therefore, extending the registration period will not only undermine the board’s plans, but also the plans of our partners.
In view of this, candidates are strongly encouraged to complete registration as soon as possible and to comply with the established schedule for 2025 UTME.
