Agent disguised as an agent from the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), 10 people were kidnapped by 10 people from White Hill Hotel in Shiroro Road, Chanchaga local government area, Niger State.
Security analyst and counter-insurgency expert Zagazola Makama cited intelligence sources as saying the incident occurred at 4:58 a.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2025.
The armed personnel reportedly rushed into the hotel, claiming to be EFCC personnel in the formal operation.
“According to the gathering, the suspects entered the guest room one by one and forced 10 people to an unknown destination,” the report said.
According to the report, the Assistant Chief of Police of the State Intelligence Department (ACPOL SID) confirmed that an investigation is being conducted to identify the perpetrator and to locate the kidnapped victim.
Makama added: “The public is urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity as authorities intensify efforts to explore the details of the attack.”
