Ogun State Police Command has arrested Opeyemi Adetoro, a 28-year-old woman, for trafficking three girls from the Oke Itokuta area of Abeokuta to Libya.

The trial showed that on March 1, 2025, Opeyemi Adetoro took three children – 17-year-old Somroin Ifeoluwa, 16-year-old Ameerah Bamgboye and another girl identified as only Okikiola – from Ogun State to Ogun State, to Akure to Akure to Akure to Akure. From there, they boarded another vehicle to Sokoto State, where a broker was waiting to smuggle them to Libya.”
