Neda Imasuen, chairman of the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions, said the Senate president has not made any SEXU@L remarks to any female senator.
Imaseun responded to the allegations of harassment in a sexu@l this morning. Natasha Akpoti-uduaghan said in an interview with Senate President Godswill Akpabio that it was said in an interview in response to the allegations of harassment in the sexu@l.
Imzai said in his interview
“We have four female senators in this tenth session and I will tell you that I am at least very close to their three. I sat next to Senator Ireti Kingibe. The question you mentioned will not disturb Sexu@L and harass her. This is a matter of privilege.
I don’t think the Senate president makes any sexual remarks to any female senator, and I don’t think any female senator complains about sexual@l harassing him or anyone else. We’re kidding in the Senate. The Senate is where we gather to discuss matters that affect the country.
If familiarity is considered a form of harassment, then I don’t know. But for me, I don’t think the Senate president’s behavior is disrespectful to women. ”
