Senator Natasha Akpoti-uduaghan has re-submitted a sexual harassment petition against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
She submitted a petition on behalf of voters led by Zubairu Yakubu.
After the speech, Senate President Akpabio asked if there were any legal obstacles to accepting the petition. She replied no. The Senate President directed her to formally place the petition in the Senate.
The petition was then forwarded to the Senate Committee on Ethics, Code of Conduct and Public Petitions, led by Senator Neda Imasuen (LP, Edo South), and reported to the plenary within four weeks of the legislative review.
Yesterday, she filed the same petition, but it was based on her own, not signed by members of her constituency.
