China warned the United States not to launch any war, pointing out that such conflicts “cannot win.”
The statement, issued by the Chinese Embassy on Thursday, March 6, warned the United States not to watch China with an “outdated Cold War mentality.”
The post reads: “The United States needs to realize that China is not a mirror of hegemony.
“The United States should stop watching China relations with an outdated Cold War mentality.
“The United States must seek to contain or follow China in the name of strategic competition.
“No matter it is a tariff war, a trade war, a cold war or a hot war, no matter what war it is, there should be no battle and no victory should be won.”
The warning is a response to remarks made by U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, who claims the United States is “preparing for” a war with China.
Hegseth made a statement when he made a appearance at Fox & Friends on Wednesday morning.
