Amazon boss Jeff Bezos and his fiancé Lauren Sanchez finally incorporated their wedding plans into the wedding two years after they got engaged, according to the Daily Mail.
The couple announced that they would get married in May 2023, when Jeff Bezos, one of the richest people in the world, gave Sanchez a pink diamond ring so huge that she later “almost blackened” when she saw it.
The couple held an engagement party on his luxury superyacht in the summer, inviting famous guests Bill Gates, Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio and Kris Jenner, the patriarch of Kardashian.
Rumors suggested a “Winter Wonderland Wedding” in Aspen on December 28 last year, but there was no ceremony on this day.
Sources close to the couple told the Daily Mail that the wedding was very “still taking place” and will be held this summer. The plan has been “ink” and the invitation is about to appear.
Sources said Sanchez had purchased her wedding dress from Oscar de la Renta.
In November 2023, former TV host Sanchez shared that she would be named after her last name, saying, “Well, yes, 100%. I look forward to becoming Mrs. Bezos.”
In an interview, Sanchez told Bezos: “He is so happy that he inspires me every day. He makes me a better person every day. He is the one I know.”
Bezos told CNN: “Lauren is the most generous, kindest person you’ve ever met…she never missed her birthday. The network of people she gives her birthday gifts is huge. This is just a small example.
“We are really great teammates and we have a lot of fun together. We love each other.”
Bezos, 61, has been married to novelist Mackenzie Scott for 25 years. They have four children.
