    R. Kelly sings on the podcast, revealing him

    R. Kelly may be serving 30 years in prison, but he recently showed off his voice in a rare podcast interview, singing clips of two of his songs.

The disappointed singer appeared on “Prisoner Tea” on the “With A A&P” podcast, where he performed the 1998 track “When A Woman Fed Enough” and the 2003 hit “In the Name of Love.”

Although Kelly insists that his conviction for federal rackets and S3X trafficking, he insists that his passion for music remains strong. “Singing is a beautiful disease that cannot be infected…I’ve been singing,” he said.

Kelly also claims to have written 25 albums since his incarceration.

Although currently held in a federal prison in North Carolina, he said he is “working out” and “using patience as a strategy” to restore his freedom. In addition to his federal conviction, Kelly was sentenced to 20 years in Chicago for his federal S3X crime. However, the judge ruled that his current 30-year prison sentence would only increase by one year, with the remaining 19 years serving simultaneously.

In February, the federal court of appeals upheld his racket conviction and sentence to ensure he stayed in prison.

Still hopeful, Kelly’s attorney Jennifer Bonjean told TMZ: “I just visited with him yesterday and he was in a good spirit. He is not a broken man and no one should count him. Our appeal process is not over. We will continue to fight for justice and his freedom.”
