According to a study published in the Journal of the American Heart Association (JAHA) (JAHA), energy drinks can cause major health problems, including increased blood pressure and a lot of heart problems.

His wife claims that a couple apparently learned that when a man was left in the hole in the skull, the hard way was bleeding in the brain after what the doctor said was “excessive energy drink consumption.”

According to JAHA’s research, between 2007 and 2011, the number of emergency room visits related to energy drinks doubled. The rise in emergency room visits coincides with the Food and Drug Administration findings that 34 energy drink-related deaths occurred in a few years.

According to Jaha’s research, energy drinks are associated with cardiac arrest, myocardial infarction, spontaneous coronary anatomy and coronary vasospasm.

“We found an association between consumption of energy drinks and changes in QT intervals and changes in blood pressure, which cannot be attributed to caffeine,” said lead investigator Dr. Sachin A. Shah.

The QT interval is a measurement used in the JAHA study, which measures the time it takes for the ventricle to prepare for the beat. Any difference in the QT interval can lead to arrhythmia (anomaly heartbeat) and can be life-threatening.

Shah continued: “We urgently need to study specific ingredients or combinations of ingredients in different types of energy drinks, which may explain the findings found in our clinical trials.”

According to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), energy drinks can also disrupt sleep patterns, cause heart breathing and anxiety, lead to digestive plans, increase blood pressure and lead to dehydration.

The NIH warns that energy drinks “can be dangerous because a lot of caffeine can cause serious heart rhythm, blood flow and blood pressure problems.”

Researchers from the American Heart Association warn that energy drinks can be “life-threatening”, especially for people who already suffer from high blood pressure or heart problems.

The drink has resulted in death. In 2017, a South Carolina teenager died after eating too much caffeine for a short period of time.

Children who still develop the cardiovascular and nervous system are also at risk because caffeine can harm them. The American Academy of Pediatrics says children should eat energy drinks “forever”.

Is it especially dangerous to mix alcohol and energy drinks?

Experts warn against mixing energy drinks with alcohol, as it may inhibit young people’s ability to speak out their level of intoxication. NIH estimates that about 25% of college students mix alcohol and energy drinks together, “the carnival” is “significantly more.”

What ingredients are usually found in energy drinks?

Caffeine and sugar are often ingredients commonly found in energy drinks, according to the University of Maryland Center for Public Health Policy Legal Resources. The center says the drinks contain “a lot of sugar that is comparable to soda and fruit drinks” as well as artificial sweeteners.

Taurine is an amino acid that is also often found in energy drinks, the center says. It is added as a “caffeine adjuvant” that helps the effects of caffeine. The center found that other common ingredients – Guarana, Kola Nuts and yerbamatè may also contain caffeine or other caffeine stimulators.

Why Energy Drinks Can Harm Your Child

One particular danger of energy drinks is that manufacturers do not need to disclose what ingredients are used to formulate popular drinks.

“One of the biggest problems with these energy drinks is that we are not the lightest thoughts among them,” said Dr. Steven Nissen, MD, MD, of the Cleveland Clinic. “The law does not require manufacturers of these drinks to disclose the content.

Those who performed independent analysis of them have learned at least some of the drinks, just filled with a lot of caffeine. ”

Villanova University recommends eating a balanced breakfast and soy food without using energy drinks to keep your energy full. The school also recommends drinking water and green tea.

Neeson also noted that consumers should “work to develop sleep habits so they can have a good night’s sleep.”

He continued: “For adults, seven to eight hours of sleep is normal and even more for children. Don’t use energy drinks as a substitute for good sleeping habits.”

Neeson notes that if all else fails, remind your doctor.

“If you’re always tired, rather than going to buy energy drinks, especially if you’re sleeping enough, you may have a lack of thyroid or other medical condition that causes you to get tired,” he said.

“Don’t try to solve the problem by buying something that you don’t know. You don’t know what’s in these energy drinks, it’s not safe.”
