A 19-year-old Nigerian man was arrested for dozens of children P0.
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office announced this in a statement Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
The agency said that Ugochukwu Chukwudi was booked with 41 items of P0.RN0Graphy, involving teenagers under the age of 13, and 23 items of P0.RN0GRAPHIN.
TPSO said its detectives are part of a multi-institutional Internet Crime (ICAC) task force for children and began an investigation in March, uploading illegal videos depicting children exploited by S3X to online cloud services.
The agency said investigators “are able to identify Chukwudi as the person who uploaded the material.” He was detained on Monday (March 31).
TPSO did not explain how it linked Chukwudi to video uploads, but said it analyzed the device at the time of his arrest, showing 64 illegal video archives containing “child S3xual abuse material, most of the victims under 13 years of age”.
The task force was part of a collaboration with Attorney General Liz Murrill’s office, and the Hammond Police Department assisted in the case, TPSO said.
