- A well-dressed woman has attracted attention in Lagos after she returned to Panti police station and said she wanted to rent an apartment, just days after she went viral for booking a £15,000 Uber ride in Lekki and reporting that the “sun was too hot”.
- Witnesses said she spent the night outside the station with her luggage.
- Her actions raise questions about mental health awareness and support in Nigeria.

The reappearance of a young, tall, well-dressed woman at the Panti Police Station in Lagos has sparked widespread concern. She went viral a few days ago for making a bizarre complaint about “the sun being too hot.”
According to witnesses, the woman had earlier booked an Uber ride from Lekki to Panti, costing £15,000, to make the unusual complaint, but she later returned to the same location, claiming she wanted to rent an apartment nearby.
Reports said she refused to leave the area and spent the night outside the station with a bag full of clothes. An eyewitness revealed, “The girl came again today and said she wanted to rent an apartment in Panti. When she came, she complained that the sun was too hot and she kept sleeping outside and did not go home.”
Her behavior raised serious concerns about her mental health, with many social media users urging authorities and mental health professionals to intervene.
The last Uber driver who visited also went viral after expressing regret over the £15,000 trip, which he said was his first ride of the day, and expressed shock at the nature of her complaint.
As of now, the Lagos Police Command has not issued an official statement on the woman’s condition and whether she has received medical attention.
Many Nigerians have since taken to social media to question how to differentiate between a “crazy person” and someone simply struggling with unseen mental challenges.
