Nollywood actor Godwin Nnadiekwe has sparked new conversations about the safety of the film in an unsettling event, which has left him hospitalized for internal bleeding.
“In one scene, I received a script or part of the director from a coworker. It caused me serious pain. I had to feel better today with my boobs. Today I did all of this myself. I did all of this myself. No help!”
Shortly after the position, his management’s public statement confirmed the worsening, suggesting that Godwin had been taken to the hospital and was currently being treated for internal bleeding.
“We regret to inform you that actor 1/3 Godwin Nnadiekwe was taken to the hospital tonight. He was being treated for internal bleeding while filming with colleague Zubby Michael.”
Although the actors avoided calling anyone directly, the live subtitled video (apparently showing strong moments), which led many online users to connect the event to the popular actor Zubby Michael who appeared in the clip.
Godwin made an emotional appeal to the film industry in his post and begged other actors and producers to prioritize security, especially in a country that operates without insurance, proper medical backups or structured on-site security protocols.
