Witnesses said the mother, who initially searched for her daughter, found her playing by the river. Although the mother warned not to play in the water, the child still persisted. The mother reportedly pushed the child into the river in anger, causing her to drown.
Stella acknowledged the bill and begged for forgiveness when a surprised member of the community approached.
