
Americanam actress and comedian Ayo Edebiri reveals her harassment after Elon Musk shares about a potentially cast fake report Pirates of the Caribbean Restart.
The report, released in February 2024, falsely claimed that Disney is considering using Edebiri as a replacement for Johnny Depp in the franchise. Musk’s reaction to the report was simple, “Disney sucks.”
Edebiri shared Musk’s original post in her post, writing: “Just remember the craziest death threats and racial slander of my life (if it was the first moment, but certainly the top three), and I’ve never heard of this movie because I’ve never heard of it.” She added: “lmao. Edebiri also mentioned comedian Bill Burr’s recent speech about Musk. Edebiri responded to Burr’s remarks, using bullseye emojis to align herself with Burr’s criticism and further condemned Musk for her racial abuse after her fake actor report. Despite the rumors, Ederbiri confirmed she didn’t star in any Pirates of the Caribbean Restart, the future of the franchise remains uncertain.
