Nollywood actress Doris O’Gara has announced her intention to take legal action against Pastor Chris Okafor, accusing him of breaking his promise to marry her and marrying another woman instead.
O’Gara made the claims during a recent live discussion with media personality Freeze Daddy, where she detailed her past relationships with pastors and the circumstances surrounding their fallout. According to the actress, the alleged promise of marriage was the basis for her decision to seek legal redress.
During the exchange, O’Gara also answered questions from Freeze’s dad about her behavior while she was married to her ex-husband. She admitted to having intimate contact with Pastor Okafor over the phone during that time, saying it was an act she was not proud of. “Did I talk to my husband intimately over the phone? Yes, I did,” she said, while insisting there was no physical relationship between them at the time.
Asked if she had evidence to support her allegations, O’Gara said she had chat logs and screen recordings, including one that she said showed the date and the recipient’s phone number. Father Freeze warned her not to release such material, warning that doing so could result in legal consequences related to invasion of privacy.
Despite the warning, O’Gara insisted she was undeterred and said she had instructed her lawyers to pursue the matter. She claimed that Pastor Okafor’s decision to marry another woman after making a promise to her constituted grounds for legal action, adding that she was prepared to give evidence in court.
As of the time of filing this report, Pastor Chris Okafor has not publicly responded to the allegations.
