The Adlerbert Study Scholarship is open to international students to pursue a master’s degree at Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden. Five scholarships will be awarded in 2021 to students who are citizens of one of 143 countries (links below). This scholarship includes full tuition remission and is funded by the Adlerbert Foundation.

Scholarship Scope
The Adlerbert Study Scholarship covers 100% of tuition fees (4 semesters/2 year course).
Eligibility Criteria for the Adlerbert Research Scholarship
To be eligible for the Adlerbert Study Scholarship, candidates must meet all of the following requirements:
- Required language: English
- Eligible countries: citizen 143 developing countries
- Applicants to first-year master’s programs.
- Selection is based on the relative academic merit of the applicant, which mainly includes a weighted average grade point average, but also the status of the alma mater (including position in global rankings) and the priority of application to Chalmers University of Technology’s master’s programs.
- For students in the final year of a bachelor’s degree program: Students who have not completed their degree but are enrolled in the final semester of a program leading to their desired degree may apply to Chalmers University of Technology. If this applies to you, you will need proof from your current university. You must submit an official document with your application proving that you are a currently enrolled student and participating in your final semester of study.

For all Masters programs at Chalmers University of Technology, English requirements Must be equivalent to or above English level 6 (Swedish high school). You can demonstrate that you meet the requirements through: certain upper secondary (high school) studies, certain university studies, or internationally recognized English tests (IELTS and TOEFL).
How to apply for the Adelbert Study Scholarship?

Step two: Required documents:
- Certificates and diplomas from previous university studies (including final year bachelor’s degree students).
- Transcript of completed courses and grades.
- Proof of English language proficiency.
- Proof that you meet specific admission requirements – a course syllabus must be submitted for each specific prerequisite (Includes bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and prerequisites (select one or more courses as needed for the specific program), and for three specific courses a portfolio is required).
- The relevant page of your passport or other valid ID.
- Resume (CV).
- Portfolio of projects.
The project portfolio is a prerequisite for the following courses: Architecture and Urban Design, Sustainable Architecture and Planning, and Industrial Design Engineering. - (Intent) Motivation letter.
The motivation letter should be no longer than one page and must be in English. - Work experience:
Proof of relevant work experience or other professional certificates (if any). - Letter of recommendation (optional):
You ensure that you provide dates and clear contact information, and that the organization and recommender are clearly named.
You may provide one or two letters of recommendation. - Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) (optional):
All applicants are encouraged to submit official university documentation clearly stating the applicant’s cumulative grade point average (CGPA) for their bachelor’s degree studies.

Step three:
- Open Online request and submit to receive a personal link to the scholarship application form.
- You will receive an email containing a link to the online scholarship application form.
notes: This email will not be sent immediately. Usually, it is sent within 24 hours, but in some cases it may take a few days depending on holidays, weekends, etc.).
Step 4:
- Open the online scholarship application form.
- Log in using your application number.
- Select the scholarship you wish to apply for “Adelbert Study Scholarship (100% Tuition Waiver)”.
- Write your name and date of birth.
- Write down your cumulative GPA, your highest and lowest passing grade, and your graduation date.
Step 5: Notification and Mandatory Confirmation Requirements:
- Chalmers University of Technology will send scholarship notifications by email between March and mid-April.
- In order to retain your scholarship, you must confirm your acceptance of the scholarship offered. Instructions will be included with your scholarship offer. Please be sure to confirm before the specified deadline.
