Nollywood actress, Adunni Ade has declared victory in her defamation suit against Polace Media Limited, operators of naijanews.com.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Aduni celebrated the victory and wrote that she was grateful to the “Nigerian courts” for granting her justice.
The case stems from a 2023 report in which she was listed as one of “six popular Nigerian celebrities” allegedly dating Senator Dino Melaye – a claim she said was false.
The actress sued the media outlet for N100 million, accusing it of invasion of privacy and defamation.
She wrote: “I won the case – Adunni Ade v Polace Media Limited (www.naijanews.com)
A false story was published about me, but the truth did not hold up.
This decision reaffirms that privacy matters—and so does integrity.
Justice delayed is not justice denied.
