
Yusuf Ibrahim Kadimu, an employee of Abuja Electric Power Distribution Company (AEDC), reportedly was sent in the Tudun Kauri area of Lafia, Nasarawa state late Tuesday night.
Witnesses said the 37-year-old was found in a blood pool near the Independent National Election Commission (INEC) office, near the Nasarawa Broadcasting Service (NBS) venue.
He was allegedly likely under attack by individuals he tried to help, allegedly attacking him and fled on a motorcycle.
His identity was unknown until his relatives arrived at the scene and confirmed that it was Yousoft.
His uncle Umaru Kasimu told reporters that he condemned the killings and urged security agencies to act quickly to track the perpetrators. “It’s a tragic and meaningless loss. We demand justice,” he said.
The State Police Command has not commented on the sad incident.
