
Mexican actor Manuel Masalva, widely recognized for his portrayal of Ramón Arellano Félix Narcos: MexicoActor Mario Morán revealed on Thursday that he is currently in a medically induced coma due to a serious infection.
In a video posted on Tiktok, Moran explained that Masalva suffered from a “very aggressive virus” while on vacation. He did not specify the location for the trip, but said the situation was still “subtle”. As the doctor continued to monitor the condition, Masalva was hospitalized and fell into a coma.
“He’s fighting and we hope to do the best we can.” As Masalva is still abroad, it has launched a GoFundMe campaign to assist with medical expenses.
Masalva is Narcos: Mexicowhere he portrayed a co-founder of the Tijuana Cartel, who was killed in a 2002 gun battle.
