    Tigran Gambaryan hit back in Nigerian government claims that he issued a statement accusing three Nigerian lawmakers of demanding $150 million in bribes to him to avoid his arrest and prosecution.

    Gambaryan is a statement issued by a former U.S. federal agent and graduate employee recounting his ordeal while being detained by the Nigerian government (read here).

    The Nigerian government responded through Information Minister Mohammed Idris.

    In a statement on Friday, February 14, Idris said Mr Gambaryan’s allegations were not only unproven, but also lacked credibility, given that he had obvious motivation to discredit and intimidate those who ensured him Those who face justice. ” (Read here).

    Mr Idris added that Gambaria should have a chance to prove his claim in court.

    Gambaryan is now fighting back, accusing the Nigerian government of being “stupid”.

    He wrote in part through X’s reaction: “The past year you dragged my name into the mud, and zero evidence killed me, killed me, and traumatized my family. Now Do you have the courage to talk about slander?

    “I’ll always put my credibility on it. In court? You mean the last time, when your lawyer didn’t even show up in a human rights lawsuit in Abuja?

    “Let your facts be straightforward. I foolishly accomplished my stupidity. I said part of me. I’ll leave Twitter now because there’s no point in arguing with evil.”
