Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s chief of staff Edison Ehie said Speaker Martins Amaewhule should be able to answer questions about destroying the River State Capitol building.
Naija News Esch said only a spokesperson for the house could use the keys to the complex starting from 6:00 p.m., the report said.
He explained this in a TV interview with Channel on Sunday, when asked about the damage to the General Assembly.
“Only a spokesperson can enter the River State Capitol after working hours,” he said.
Anchor asked him if it means Amaewhule Some questions should be asked about the destruction of the complex.
Esch replied: “Yes, because he was a speaker at the time. He is the only one to visit. Whether in the early hours, don’t talk about the weekend. Once at 6 p.m., only one person can enter the emergency and access the Rivers State Capitol. This is the spokesperson, the host. ”
When the Supreme Court ruling and President Bra Tinub’s ruling were challenged, he said that Governor Fobala knew about the demolition of the complex, he replied:
“Well, as a lawyer, the greatest respect for our lofty career, I won’t be with the Supreme Court’s issues. But I’m trying to give you the basic part of what happened this season. Don’t forget that today’s former governor became FCT minister today, while also having night work in Parliament 9, which has become night work as a member of the business of the convention.
“So, what happened then? Even the call from the members of parliament, the staff of the General Assembly, this place is no longer conducive to our legislative affairs.”
