The American tourist is accused of throwing her newborn baby out of the second floor window K of the Paris hotel! ling the Buthan, has been identified as an 18-year-old Oregon woman.

French authorities say 18-year-old Mia McQuillin is part of a “group of young people traveling in Europe”, part of a year’s gap between high school and college, when she gave birth at the Ibis Styles Hotel in the city’s borough.

Authorities are investigating whether McQuillin, who grew up in a $1 million bungalow in Bend, suffered a “refusal to get pregnant” case, not knowing she was pregnant or unacceptable when she allegedly threw the baby into the window around 6 a.m. on February 24.

Witnesses said the newborn still had an umbilical cord and could not recover after the fall.

The woman’s grandfather, Ralph McQuillin, told Dailymail that he could not comment on the horrible incident because “I don’t know anything.”

“This is almost where the family is,” he said. “That’s what I can say.”

McQuillin is traveling through Europe with a group of young people as part of the EF GAP annual program that allows people aged 18 to 22 to “experience the world” and “build the skills of the real world, create lifelong memories, and get back home better”.

According to their website, the program costs between $19,500 and $24,750 per semester, and costs $43,750 a year and brings students to faraway places including England, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Australia, Australia and Thailand.

The EF Gap Year confirmed McGlin’s participation mirror and said in a statement that they were “deeply shocked and saddened by this tragic event.”

“As we continue our investigation, we are working fully with local authorities. The group added that we are providing consultative support to all group members and we are providing support to affected families,” the group added.

A hotel worker said the baby was still alive when he was taken to the hospital, describing a “nightmare” waking up.

“This Monday morning is still. At around 6 a.m., this little piece of Paris wakes up in a nightmare. I just think about it and feel chilling,” they said.

“That’s bad. She had to give birth in the room, she wrapped the baby in a towel and threw him out the window. When he left the emergency service, he was still alive. But he was dead. We want to know what happened, it must be pregnancy denied,” they added.

McGlin was reportedly detained by police on Monday morning.
