Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has joined a growing list of celebrities speaking out in support of her colleague Regina Daniels amid ongoing tensions in her marriage to Senator Ned Nwoko.
Following in the footsteps of Macy Johnson, who previously defended Regina, Angela put aside past differences with the mother of two in a show of unity.
Angela wrote to her colleague after commenting on a post about Regina’s marriage on Nollywood producer Stanley Ontop’s Instagram page:
“Justice for my baby Gina, we love you no matter what.”
The two actresses previously clashed over Mercy Johnson in June 2020. The argument intensified when Angela accused Regina of marrying for financial gain, saying, “You married a man who was supposed to be your great-grandfather,” adding, “That’s the only reason Daniel feels she can disrespect her.”
Regina responded, and the online divide raged for days. Angela later apologized to Ned Nowoko and Macy Johnson.
