Another aspiring man has withdrawn from the competition ahead of the All Progress Conference (APC) of Anambra State University, which was scheduled for tomorrow, to bring the ripples through the political landscape.
Naija News Paul Chukwuma of Umueri, a major contender for APC tickets, announced he was withdrawing from the competition on Friday, the report said. Chukwuma resigned with a bold move, citing dissatisfaction with some internal dynamics.
Speaking to party members, Chukwuma expressed continued support for President Bola Tinubu’s updated hope agenda, stressing that his departure from the party does not reflect his position on the presidential leadership.
He said “Mr. President is not an APC issue, but a non-development element that does not want the party to move forward.”
Chukwuma also noted that he had submitted a resignation letter to the party’s ward chairman, adding “As for now, I want to take a rest for many years.”
