Abia Warriors forward Antoine Desouza was awarded the Nigerian Prime Minister’s Football League (NPFL) player in February.
Desouza stands out among worthy contenders including Kingsley Madufolo, Remo Stars, Bello Lukeman, Katsina United, Katsina United, Kayode Oke (Bendel Insurance) and Ubong Friday (Rivers United). His impressive performance led him to score three goals in four NPFL games for the Abia Warriors this month.

Elegbeleye said at an unprecedented level of play this season, which is attributed to significant improvements in the match hosts, which strengthens the club’s confidence.

In other news, the Plateau Federation announced the premium fee increase in the upcoming NPFL match day boarding against Kano Pillars. Fans need to pay five hundred naira (500) to enter the new Jos Stadium. This adjustment is a temporary measure specific to Day 30, as the fee will be restored to the standard 200 Naira (200) starting from Day 32 of the match.
