Chiefs at Delta State University’s All Progressive Conference (APC). Chief Evance Ochuko Ivwurie has accused Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of what he said in his policy against President Bola Tinubu, while secretly seeking to join the APC.
According to Ivwurie, Oborevwori’s actions reflect disturbing despair and a serious lack of integrity. “His actions reflect disturbing despair and a serious lack of integrity,” he said.
Ivwurie warned Oborevwori not to drag the delta state against the federal government to unnecessarily confrontation, urging him to prioritize the interests of the state and contribute to the settlement of the Rivers crisis.

Ivwurie praised President Tinubu for his decisive actions in declaring a state of emergency in the Rivers State, saying the state is free from collapse and destruction.
“Rivers are now experiencing a new sense of hope thanks to President Tinob’s timely intervention. Instead of waiting for the situation to worsen and fall into full-scale conflict and chaos, he said, decisively took action to resolve the crisis.”
