Ondo State Governor, Lucky Ayedatiwa, candidate of the All Progressives Congress, won Saturday’s governorship election in the state with 366,781 cast, defeating his nearest rival Agbra ·Agboola Ajayi, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, won 117,845 votes.
He declared his election winner on Sunday afternoon when the returning official of the state, the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University, Lokoja, Professor Olayemi Akinwunmi declared him the elected governor of Sunshine State.
