Before the June 2025 transfer window, Arsenal’s top transfer target Nico Williams answered his future questions.
Nico Williams expressed his happiness at the athletic club, although ongoing transfer speculation linked him to Arsenal and Barcelona. The 22-year-old Spanish international team is reportedly still a priority for both clubs, but he rejected their progress last summer to stay with the Basque side. Although rumors about potential moves remain, Williams is currently focusing on leading sports clubs to Europa League success this season.
Williams shared his wishes when talking about sports: “My dream is to lift the championship trophy in San Mames. I had the opportunity to make history in this club. The dream will never end. Now, I am completely committed to tomorrow’s game (Thursday), reaching the finals and winning the game. I’m very happy here and always want to feel precious here. This season was a perfect 10/10 for me. ”
Williams’ release clause is €58 million (£48 million/$60 million), which can be adjusted if he signs a new contract with the Childhood Club. Although his future may be one of the main transfer stories of the summer, the winger appears to be focused on achieving the glory of the Europa League, with the final match set to be held at the sports club’s Estadio de San Mamés.
