Prosecutor Inspector Folashade Adeyemi said on March 10 in Akure that the defendant threatened the life of an Alexandral Udokwu and attacked him with a broken bottle.
The crime violated Article 86 of the Ondo State Criminal Law, 2006.
The prosecutor said the defendant was just pretending to be crazy because there were no medical reports that he had a mental illness, adding that it could be an attempt to deliberately distort justice.
Magistrates Adrakin immediately ordered the defendant to be remanded on March 23 until the arraignment was conducted on March 23.
