Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa shares her thoughts on the ongoing controversy surrounding pop singer Asake, and a man who claims to be her father, Fatai Odunsi.
The man said he has been fighting a stroke since 2022 and claimed that despite his deterioration, Asak ignored his phone number.
Asake solves this problem in a secret but emotional message shared on Tiktok.
“My own father wanted to trick me, and I had already sent him a lot of money. I struggled for many years, but they wanted to make life tired. ” He said.
In the ongoing drama, Asak’s family also breaks the silence by resolving the charges and accusing the singer of ignoring his daughter Zeenat and her mother.
But speaking through an Instagram post, Amusa emphasized the importance of parents’ existence and love, which shows that children’s wounds cannot be healed through fame or wealth.
“When Asake covered his face with a tattoo, I once said he either rebranded or covered up the pain he wasn’t ready for face-to-face,” Amisa wrote.
The actress noted that while there were claims that his father was absent and his mother was harsh, she would not judge them, but emphasized “It is important that Asake deserves love, not public wonders. ”
“Fame cannot heal the wounds of parents’ rejection. A child who grew up on “I love you” lives differently from the person he hears, “I don’t want anything to do with you.” Some people’s money cannot be fixed only – only intentional recovery can be done.
“I didn’t judge, but chose to send love to this outstanding artist.”
Amisa also urged parents to be present and become the voice the world is trying to define their children heard before.
“A child who really sees and is loved at home has very little evidence of the world. As a victim of this situation, I can contact him. I wish him all the best.” She came to the conclusion.
