
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar accused Senate President Godswill Akpabio of abuse of women even as the governor of Akwa Ibom.
Atiku said it was filed against Akpabio by suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-uduaghan after the harassment allegations against Akpabio.
In a recent interview with journalist Adesuwa Giwa-Osagie, Atiku was asked if there were any reports of corruption in Godswill Akpabio when he was governor.
He said, respond
”Yes. Not only is he corrupt, he also has a history of abuse of women. ”
Regarding the 2027 election, Atiku was asked whether he will run for president again and who will lead any alliance to disappoint the government today,
The former vice president responded
”In 2014, we conducted a similar merger and competed for several candidates. We all ran for president, and one showed up and we all supported him. Nigeria has never needed reliable leadership more than it is now.
Atiku said he was surprised when asked if he was asked whether he was promptly approved by the National Assembly for the State of Emergency.
”No. The leadership is corrupt and I don’t apologize. They can do anything. The Senate president is known for such behavior, even the governor.”
