Nigerian comedian and actor AY Makun celebrated his youngest daughter Ayomide’s fourth birthday with his estranged wife Mabel Makun in a heartwarming display of togetherness and co-parenting that has grabbed attention online.
To mark the special occasion, AY has shared a series of throwback videos that follow Ayomide’s development from infancy to happy toddlerhood. The post also came with a touching message dedicated to his daughter. He wrote:
“Happy fourth birthday, my sweet Ayomide. My beautiful baby girl… After 13 years of waiting, God has answered me with you. From the first moment you came into this world, you were more than just my child… you became my joy, my healing, my new beginning… Daddy is always here. No matter what life throws at you, you never walk alone.”
AY further expressed how Ayomide and her sister Michelle had changed his life, describing them as his “joy,” “answered prayers” and “heart outside of my body.”
Mabel Makoun also celebrated her daughter by sharing adorable studio photos on social media that captured Ayomide’s bright smile and bubbly personality. Looking back on the photo shoot, she wrote:
