Ayra Starr has become the most nominated African bill, and as the organizer of the BET Awards, confirmed the 2025 edition of the nominee list.
The BET Awards are back on its 25th anniversary, and the 2025 edition has become a book, becoming a book, with Sabi Girl personally leading the list of nominees for African artists.
The show will be broadcast live from the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles on June 9, 2025, hosted by comedian Kevin Hart and will celebrate the best of black music, entertainment and culture from around the world.
Kendrick Lamar leads with an impressive nomination this year, thanks to the influence of his latest album GNX and the viral success of his Drake Diss Track Don’t like us. On his heel are Doechii, Drake, Future and Glorilla, each of whom has received six nominations. Metro Boomin, Sza and The Weeknd also featured multiple nods.
