Nigerian social media user Bukky Jesse Plug suggested that Yoruba actor Olanrewaju Omiyinka, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, contact online influencer Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan.
Baba Ijesha, who was recently released after serving more than three years in prison, continues to face criticism online.
In response to the backlash, Bucky suggested the actor contact VeryDarkMan to set the record straight. He noted that the influencer has a broad platform, citing his involvement in Mobadd’s case and his support for singer Naira Marley as the artist came under public scrutiny following her death.
Baki stressed that if steps are not taken to clear his name, Baba Ijesha risks being permanently misjudged.
He wrote:
“Baba Ijesha I would advise you to go to VDM because he has a big platform to explain yourself and how everything happened. Because I can see people calling you a pedophile. They also say if you really did not commit the crime, why have you not been released after so many years?
According to the findings of the d court, the girl involved is not a minor. As of now, no birth certificate has been provided to prove the girl’s age. Now I want to take you down memory lane. When the public was outraged and Iyabo Ojo was quick to come out and accuse Naira Marley of a d cut and join video based on her daughter’s release, we were all left in the lurch. Although nm was proven innocent by the courts, many goats still call nm apayan to this day. You all said that if Ijesha was framed, the courts would prove his innocence. Wasn’t it the same court that saw what Ashana did to Mobad and still claimed that Ashana was innocent? ” he wrote in part.
