In a statement released on Tuesday, April 29, Mukhtar Gidado, special counsel for media and publicity, said the appointment was to revitalize governance institutions and deepen participatory leadership.
He said that the appointees of former political office holders at the national, state and local government levels were chosen based on excellent, experienced experience and political background and their leadership abilities.
The appointees are composed of five major special assistants in political and community relations, a chief special assistant in pension affairs, 60 senior special assistants in political and community relations, a senior special assistant in labor affairs and 63 special assistants in political and community relations.
“The newly appointed assistant is based on performance, proven experience and political background, as well as leadership skills, major political office holders at the national, state and local government levels and is expected to inject fresh energy into the government and support the governor’s vision of a quick and effective government response to the government.”
